The Tree House is not for everyone. For your sake and ours, please read on to find out whether you and the Tree House are a compatible match:

We won’t, don’t, can’t fumigate the area to get rid of insects and other local species.

We have beautiful outdoor showers in most of our rooms, where only birds and other animals can see you.

We have a natural pool free of chlorine and other chemicals. The water will not be as clear as a chlorine pool and you may have to share the pool with plants and other friendly insects.

We do not have air-conditioners in our public space but instead rely on the natural river breeze.

We do not have roads for cars leading to the Bangkok Tree House, the only way to access our secluded location is by foot, bike or boat

You will love the Bangkok Tree House if you love trees, plants, exotic lizards, birds, fireflies, cicadas, butterflies and mother nature

Resort Bangphlat, the antique Thai house harmonizing with the environment of simplicity,is the right place welcoming you to enjoy either your family fabulous relaxation as we provide you a perfect living in bangkok. And ready to show you its simplicity of origins, which is the best reflection of Thai society.

Resort Bangphlat  is one of the boutique resort in Bangkok. Located a short local bus or taxiride from theGrand Palace,National Museum,Wat pho and the Khao San Road. this boutique resort is truly unique.Built using traditonal methods this resort has all the modern convenienced, but with the style and character of an historic,Thai wooden house.each house has a seperate living ,bathroom, balcony, bedroom and working room. There is free-wifi internet provided throughout the resort. Our resort is situated in our peaceful, out of the way, soi.  Being located around 70 metres from the road the only noise you will hear is the sound of the water running down our fountain.  Our restaurant and coffee shop serve in either our traditional dining area or outside in one of our peaceful, wooden, seating areas.  Though within simple travelling distance to all the major sites of Bangkok we are located in an interesting area that is not used to seeing many foreigners allowing you to experience everyday Thai life in an undisturbed manner.  Our friendly staff can provide information on local markets, temples and other attractions to give a unique outlook to your stay in Bangkok.

Resort Bangphlat  was initially an old Thai traditional wooden house modified thirty years ago before the existence of the current Charansanitwong Road.  Originally, the area of boutique resort was full of durian trees.  Due to urbanization, the durian gardens were developed into housed communities and finally became a small town as what are nowadays.  Such a modern civilization has almost overlaid the conservative value of ancient Thai traditional lifestyle.  Thus a number of our ancient Thai two-storey wooden houses were exquisitely conserved and customized as an urban resort amidst Bangkok.  Meanwhile, we have preserved its ancient Thai peacful atmosphere as being the best restful family home.
